Sherfield English is fortunate to have an extensive network of scenic footpaths, perfect for anyone who enjoys walking, nature, and staying active. Whether you’re out for a gentle stroll or a brisk hike, these paths offer something for everyone – and the views are truly worth the walk!
On clear days, the elevated routes reveal stunning views, including Southampton Docks, Fawley, The Solent, and even the northern coast line of the Isle of Wight. It is countryside walking at its best.
Our parish lengths man continues to work hard clearing overhanging branches, tidying paths and removing fallen trees, their efforts help to keep our footpaths safe and enjoyable.
The lengths person’s role is wide-ranging, from clearing drains and grips to repairing walls and paving – but they need to know where help is needed. That’s where you come in!! If you spot an issue along any of our footpaths, simply let a Parish Councillor know or email us directly at footpaths@sherfieldenglish.org.uk.
